Realme 16 Pro Series India Price & Specs Leaked Ahead of January Launch
The expected prices and storage options for Realme's upcoming smartphones have surfaced online just days before their official launch. The Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ are scheduled to debut in India on January 6, 2026, and a new leak gives us a clear picture of what they might cost.
According to details shared by tech blogger Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), the Realme 16 Pro 5G will have a starting price of Rs. 31,999 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Two higher configurations are also tipped: an 8GB+256GB variant at Rs. 33,999 and a 12GB+256GB model at Rs. 36,999.
The more premium Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to be priced higher. The leak suggests its 8GB+128GB version will cost Rs. 39,999, the 8GB+256GB model Rs. 41,999, and the top-tier 12GB+256GB variant Rs. 44,999. The report also mentions that the company might offer special merchandise to customers who pre-book the phones through offline stores.
This pricing aligns with a previous leak that mentioned a higher "box price" for the Pro+ model, which is typically more than the final retail price. It's important to note that Realme has not confirmed these figures, so they should be treated as speculation until the official announcement.
Both phones will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the Realme India online store in Master Gold and Master Grey colour options, featuring what the company calls an 'Urban Wild' design.
In terms of confirmed specifications, the entire series will stand out with a massive 7,000mAh "Titan" battery. Both models will also sport a triple rear camera system led by a 200-megapixel "Portrait Master" main sensor. Under the hood, the Pro+ model will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the standard Pro will use a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G processor.
