Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Renders Leak in Purple, Black and Green, Camera Specs

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Renders Leak in Purple, Black and Green, Camera Specs

Samsung's next Fan Edition smartphone has appeared in a new leak, giving us a clearer look at the Galaxy S26 FE ahead of its expected official announcement.

Newly leaked renders reportedly show the smartphone in purple, black and green color options, while additional information points to a familiar triple-camera setup, an Exynos 2500 processor and a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display.

The Galaxy S26 FE is said to carry the internal codename "r14," following Samsung's previous naming pattern for the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S25 FE.

Galaxy S26 FE Design Revealed in New Renders

The latest renders show Samsung continuing the overall design language introduced across its current Galaxy lineup.

The Galaxy S26 FE appears to feature a flat rear panel and flat frame, but one noticeable change is the camera area. Instead of completely separated camera rings, the rear cameras appear grouped inside a more defined vertical camera island.

The leaked colors include:

  1. Purple
  2. Black
  3. Green

Since these are leaked renders rather than an official Samsung announcement, final color names and regional availability could be different when the phone launches.

50MP Main Camera With OIS

According to the latest leak, Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy S26 FE with a 50MP primary camera using the Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 sensor.

The reported main-camera specifications include:

If accurate, Samsung appears to be prioritizing refinement rather than dramatically increasing camera resolution on the Fan Edition model.

8MP Telephoto With 3x Optical Zoom

The Galaxy S26 FE is also tipped to feature an 8MP telephoto camera using an OmniVision OV08A1 sensor.

It reportedly offers:

  1. 3x optical zoom
  2. f/2.4 aperture
  3. PDAF
  4. Optical image stabilization

The presence of a dedicated optical zoom camera continues to separate Samsung's FE series from many conventional mid-range smartphones.

Two 12MP Cameras Also Expected

Two additional 12MP sensors have reportedly been identified for the Galaxy S26 FE: the GalaxyCore GC12A2 and Sony IMX825.

However, it is not yet completely clear which sensor will be used for the ultra-wide camera and which will handle selfies.

One possibility is that Samsung will continue the arrangement used on the previous generation, with the Sony IMX825 serving as the selfie camera while the GC12A2 is used for the ultra-wide camera.

Until Samsung officially announces the device, these sensor assignments should be treated as unconfirmed.

Up to 8K Video Recording

The camera leak also suggests strong video capabilities.

All of the Galaxy S26 FE's cameras are reportedly capable of recording 4K video at up to 60fps, while the main rear camera could support 8K recording at 30fps.

That would give the Fan Edition device video capabilities closer to Samsung's premium Galaxy S phones.

Exynos 2500 Expected to Power Galaxy S26 FE

Performance is expected to come from Samsung's Exynos 2500, manufactured using a 3nm process.

The move to the Exynos 2500 could provide one of the more meaningful upgrades over the previous FE generation, particularly in processing performance, efficiency and AI-related workloads.

However, real-world thermal performance and sustained gaming performance will only become clear once the device is officially available for testing.

6.7-Inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display

The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to retain a large 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

Reported display specifications include:

  1. 6.7-inch panel
  2. Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology
  3. 120Hz refresh rate
  4. Flat display design

Samsung's FE phones traditionally attempt to retain the visual experience of the flagship Galaxy S series while reducing costs in other areas.

Battery Capacity Still Unclear

Battery information remains less certain.

The latest report cited by IT Home claims a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging.

However, other recent reports have mentioned a 5,000mAh capacity, meaning there is currently conflicting information surrounding the final battery specification.

The 45W wired charging figure appears more consistent across current leaks.

For that reason, DeviceDecode recommends treating the battery capacity as unconfirmed until Samsung provides official specifications.

According to DeviceDecode

According to DeviceDecode, the Galaxy S26 FE looks more like an evolutionary upgrade than a complete redesign.

The biggest potential improvements may come from the Exynos 2500 processor, revised camera island and internal performance enhancements, while the 50MP + 12MP + 8MP camera formula appears likely to remain relatively familiar.

That strategy would make sense for Samsung's Fan Edition lineup, which typically attempts to bring key Galaxy S-series features to a lower price point rather than competing directly with the Ultra model.

The Exynos 2500 will therefore be one of the most important specifications to watch. If Samsung can deliver better efficiency, thermals and sustained performance, the Galaxy S26 FE could offer a more meaningful upgrade than the relatively familiar camera numbers suggest.

For now, the renders and specifications remain leaked information and should not be considered official until Samsung announces the Galaxy S26 FE.
