Sucker Punch Productions has released a festive surprise for fans of their hit PlayStation 5 game, Ghost of Yotei. To celebrate the holiday season, the developer has dropped a collection of free character avatars that players can claim and use on their PlayStation Network profiles for a limited time.

The new avatars feature beautiful artwork of several key characters from the game's story, including the protagonist Jubei, the enigmatic Oyuki, and the formidable Master Enomoto. Also included are avatars of the Golden Bird and The Wolf, iconic symbols from the game's world. These avatars let you showcase your love for the game right on your profile.

Claiming them is simple, but it requires a code that varies by region. You need to go to the PlayStation Store on your console or the web, navigate to the "Redeem Code" section, and enter the correct code for your location:

Ghost of Yotei, which launched in October 2025, has been a massive success, selling millions of copies and winning several end-of-year awards. It continues the story of the Ghost of Tsushima universe, set over 300 years later, and follows the warrior Atsu on her quest for revenge against the Yotei Six.

This holiday gift follows news that the game will also receive a free multiplayer expansion in 2026, titled Ghost of Yotei Legends. It will act as a sequel to the popular Ghost of Tsushima Legends mode, featuring both two-player story missions and four-player survival modes. While no single-player story DLC is currently planned, the developer has said future expansions would depend on player feedback and reception.
