Samsung has officially begun rolling out the stable version of One UI 9.0 (based on Android 17) to its flagship smartphones, following five months of extensive beta testing across seven builds. Along with new OS enhancements and Privacy Alerts, the update packs the latest September 2026 security patch.

2. Galaxy S22 Series: Has reached its end-of-life for major Android platform upgrades (final build being One UI 8 / Android 16) and will continue on quarterly security maintenance.
