vivo X300 Ultra to Feature Dual 200MP Sony Sensors
The upcoming vivo X300 Ultra is set to break new ground with two 200MP Sony cameras — one for the main sensor (IMX09E) and one for the periscope (IMX09A), according to new leaks.
The main sensor, IMX09E, is a 1/1.12" 200MP sensor with Hybrid Frame HDR, combining Dual Conversion Gain (DCG) and Voltage Scaling (VS) for superior dynamic range over 100dB, better low-light sensitivity, and in-sensor 2x/4x lossless zoom. It also includes 2x2 OCL tech for faster autofocus.
The periscope camera uses a new glass-plastic hybrid lens and the IMX09A sensor, offering similar resolution but optimized optics.
Completing the rear setup is a 50MP ultra-wide, while the selfie camera also boasts 50MP with autofocus.
Meanwhile, the vivo X300 Pro will use a Samsung-made 200MP sensor for its periscope and a Sony LYT-828 50MP main sensor instead.
