Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: A 7,000mAh Battery Beast That’s Surprisingly Thin!

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: A 7,000mAh Battery Beast That’s Surprisingly Thin!

Motorola is making some serious noise in the mid-range market with the debut of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. Right out of the box, you get a powerful 68W fast charger and a high-quality cable, but the phone itself is the real star. Even though it packs a massive 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery, it’s incredibly light at just 193 grams and super slim at 7.9mm. The "Panto Blue Surf" color is a head-turner, featuring a unique linen-textured finish that feels great to hold. Plus, it’s built like a tank with IP68/IP69 water resistance and military-grade durability.

The screen is another highlight. You're looking at a 6.78-inch Super HD AMOLED display that curves on all four sides. It’s buttery smooth thanks to a 144Hz refresh rate and can reach a staggering 5,200 nits of peak brightness, making it easy to see even under the harshest sun. Under the hood, the new Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 processor handles everything with ease, scoring over 1.1 million on AnTuTu benchmarks. It runs on the latest Android 16 with Motorola’s clean Hello UI, and it’s packed with Moto AI features like Gemini integration to help with daily tasks and creative image generation.

When it comes to the cameras, the 50MP main sensor with OIS takes sharp, detailed photos with solid dynamic range. There’s also a 13MP ultrawide lens that pulls double duty for macro shots and a 32MP front camera for high-quality selfies. While it captures great portraits, there’s a slight hint of a red tint on skin tones in certain lights, but overall, it’s a big step up. Compared to the older Edge 60 Fusion, this new model is a massive upgrade in power, battery, and storage. With an expected starting price of around $350, it’s shaping up to be one of the best values for your money this year.
