Vivo X300 FE Brings Flagship Power in a Compact Size
The Vivo X300 FE has officially arrived as a compact flagship smartphone for 2026, offering premium features without the bulky size. In a detailed unboxing and review, tech creator Manoj Saru tested the phone’s design, camera quality, gaming performance, battery life, and software to find out whether it deserves to be called one of the best compact smartphones of the year.
The phone comes with a premium metal frame and a glass back, giving it a stylish and high-end look. On the rear, it features a horizontal pill-shaped camera module that blends neatly into the design. For durability, the device carries IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, along with 5-star drop protection for better everyday reliability. Buyers can choose from Olive, Black, and Purple color options.
On the front, the Vivo X300 FE is equipped with a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display. The screen offers an impressive 94.38% screen-to-body ratio, making the bezels very slim. It also delivers a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, allowing users to enjoy clear visibility even under bright sunlight.
Photography is one of the biggest highlights of this smartphone. It features a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. One of its most exciting features is the Zeiss Extended Kit, a clip-on lens attachment that allows users to capture images with an equivalent focal length of up to 1600mm, making extreme zoom photography possible. The camera setup also supports 8K video recording and 4K video at 120 frames per second, giving creators more flexibility for high-quality content.
For performance, the smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. During testing, it scored close to 3 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, showing flagship-level performance. Gaming results were equally impressive, with support for 90fps in BGMI and 120fps in Call of Duty. The device stays cool during heavy usage thanks to its 45mm² vapor chamber cooling system, helping maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions.
Battery life is another strong point. The Vivo X300 FE packs a large 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, allowing users to recharge quickly while enjoying long-lasting usage. On the software side, it runs OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. Vivo has also promised five years of Android OS updates and seven years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support.
After testing every major feature, Manoj Saru concluded that the Vivo X300 FE stands out as one of the best compact flagship smartphones available in 2026. It combines powerful performance, an excellent display, impressive cameras, and a premium design in a compact body. The smartphone is expected to be priced at under $930, making it an attractive option for users looking for a premium flagship experience without moving to a larger phone.
