Ulefone Armor 22 Pro and Armor 24 Pro Launch With Helio G200, eSIM and Android 16

Ulefone has launched two new rugged smartphones, the Armor 22 Pro and Armor 24 Pro, bringing MediaTek’s Helio G200 chipset, eSIM support, 120Hz displays and Android 16.

The Armor 22 Pro focuses on a more compact rugged design, while the Armor 24 Pro targets users who need extreme battery life with a massive 22,000mAh battery.

Ulefone Armor 22 Pro Specs

The Ulefone Armor 22 Pro is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Helio G200 processor. The octa-core chip reaches speeds of up to 2.2GHz and is paired with an Arm Mali-G57 GPU.

The phone features a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with 8GB RAM.

Storage options include:

  1. 128GB storage
  2. 256GB storage
  3. Up to 2TB microSD expansion

Ulefone has equipped the device with a 64MP main camera and a separate 64MP night-vision camera, making it particularly useful for outdoor work and low-light environments.

The Armor 22 Pro also packs a 6,600mAh battery and runs Android 16.

Despite being a rugged phone, its body measures around 15mm thick, making it considerably more manageable than some ultra-large rugged smartphones.

Ulefone Armor 24 Pro Gets a Massive 22,000mAh Battery

The Armor 24 Pro is the more powerful and battery-focused model.

Its biggest feature is the enormous 22,000mAh battery, designed for users working outdoors, traveling or spending long periods away from a charger.

It supports:

  1. 66W wired fast charging
  2. 10W reverse charging

Reverse charging allows the Armor 24 Pro to work like a power bank for other devices.

Armor 24 Pro Performance and Display

Like the Armor 22 Pro, the Armor 24 Pro uses the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, but Ulefone increases the memory to 12GB RAM and provides 256GB storage.

Users can also expand storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card.

On the front is a larger 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

64MP Night Vision Camera

The Armor 24 Pro features:

  1. 64MP main rear camera
  2. 64MP night-vision camera
  3. 16MP front camera

Night-vision hardware is one of the key advantages of Ulefone's Armor series, especially for users working in construction, security, outdoor environments or other low-light conditions.

The phone also includes an underwater camera mode.

uSmart Expansion Support

Another useful feature of the Armor 24 Pro is Ulefone's uSmart expansion connector.

It supports accessories including compatible endoscopes, microscopes and communication accessories, making the phone more useful for professional inspection and maintenance work.

Android 16 and eSIM

Both new rugged smartphones support eSIM, while the Armor 22 Pro and Armor 24 Pro ship with Android 16.

According to DeviceDecode, eSIM support is an important upgrade for rugged smartphones because these devices are often used by travelers and professionals who may need to switch mobile networks without replacing a physical SIM card.

Ulefone Armor 22 Pro and Armor 24 Pro Price

Ulefone has announced the following starting prices:

Model

Price

Ulefone Armor 22 Pro

$239.99

Ulefone Armor 24 Pro

$359.99

The Armor 22 Pro is the better option for users who want a rugged phone without carrying an extremely large battery, while the Armor 24 Pro is clearly aimed at users who prioritize maximum battery life.

DeviceDecode Take

The Armor 24 Pro's 22,000mAh battery is easily the standout feature of Ulefone's latest rugged lineup.

However, the Armor 22 Pro could appeal to more users because it still offers the Helio G200, 120Hz display, 64MP night-vision camera and eSIM support in a thinner body.

For outdoor workers, travelers and users who need a smartphone capable of operating for long periods away from a charger, the Armor 24 Pro looks particularly interesting.
