Samsung has confirmed the date for its next premium foldable showcase. The official launch event for the Samsung W27 series will take place on October 29 at 16:00, introducing the latest additions to the Heart for the World lineup.

According to IT Home, early reservation access is already open through authorized brand stores, with the first retail units expected to reach customer hands starting November 5. The official promotional image reveals the silhouettes of two foldable screen devices, pointing to another dual model release in this luxury family.

What to Expect from the Samsung W27 Hardware

Samsung traditionally patterns its W series releases after its primary foldable devices. Because of that pattern, the new Samsung W27 is widely expected to build directly on the Galaxy Z Fold8 series. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra debuted in July with a launch price of 14,999 yuan, establishing a baseline for the internal specifications expected in this high end variant.

The underlying hardware provides a very clear picture of what the upcoming luxury phone will offer. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra features a 6.5 inch FHD+ outer screen protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. Unfolding the phone reveals a spacious 8 inch QXGA+ main display that reaches up to 3000 nits of peak brightness and includes a specialized anti reflective coating to preserve visibility under harsh lighting.

Power management relies on modern battery chemistry. The Fold8 Ultra carries a 5000mAh silicon carbon battery pack that supports 45W wired charging and 20W wireless charging speeds.
