Infinix GT 50 Pro Launching in India With Big Upgrades

Infinix GT 50 Pro Launching in India With Big Upgrades

The Infinix GT 50 Pro arrives in India on October 27, bringing dedicated gaming hardware and liquid cooling channels to the lineup. Succeeding the Infinix GT 30 Pro from 2025, the new device will retail through Flipkart and is currently open for pre bookings on the company website.

Reports from 91mobiles, Beebom, and TelecomTalk highlight that the phone brings a larger 6,500mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, and a smooth 144Hz AMOLED display. Early buyers reserving the device for Rs 1,999 before October 26 also get a bundled Infinix X60 Bluetooth speaker under introductory promotional terms.

Pricing Expectations and Competition

The Indian pricing remains unconfirmed, with initial industry estimates pointing toward a range between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000, while other reports suggest it could stretch closer to Rs 45,000. For reference, international pricing in Indonesia placed the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration around Rs 35,000, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB model landed near Rs 40,000.

The previous Infinix GT 30 Pro launched starting at Rs 24,999 for the base 8GB configuration, meaning the new model represents a noticeable step upward. In the Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 bracket, the GT 50 Pro will compete directly against strong mid range performers like the POCO X8 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE 6. If the final price approaches Rs 45,000, justifying the purchase against broader flagship alternatives could prove more challenging.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Design and Key Features

Visually, the device stands out through what the brand terms its Explicit Viewport Design. This setup shows off visible liquid cooling pathways beneath the back cover. While global markets saw three finishes, Indian buyers will choose between Black Abyss and Red Blaze color options.

Physical dimensions measure 162.44 by 77.23 by 8.15 millimeters, with total weight hitting 198 grams. The phone also carries an official IP64 certification for dust and splash protection.

Beyond the design, mobile gamers get hardware level features including built in shoulder triggers, an elaborate internal cooling loop, and an included magnetic cooling accessory in the retail package.

A final pricing announcement will determine the true value proposition for mobile players. If Infinix lands near the Rs 30,000 mark, the upgraded chipset, custom cooling, and physical triggers will make the GT 50 Pro a compelling alternative for high frame rate gaming on a budget.
