Google Pixel 10a Leaks: Design, Specs & Launch Timeline Revealed

The upcoming Google Pixel 10a has surfaced in new CAD-based renders, giving the first real look at the next affordable Pixel device. While most of the Pixel 10 lineup launched earlier this year, the 10a is expected to arrive in early 2026, slightly earlier in the calendar than last year’s Pixel 9a.

From the leaked renders, the Pixel 10a appears nearly identical to its predecessor. It features a flat back with a smooth camera bar housing two sensors, and a plastic finish that keeps costs low while maintaining a clean Pixel look. On the front, the bezels remain relatively thick, and Google seems to have kept the same button arrangement, with the power key positioned above the volume rocker.

In terms of dimensions, the Pixel 10a reportedly measures 153.9 x 72.9 x 9 mm, making it a touch smaller yet slightly thicker than the 9a. The display size is expected to stay the same, continuing Google’s focus on a compact mid-range experience.

Under the hood, the Pixel 10a may skip the latest Tensor G5 chip in favor of an upgraded version of the Tensor G4 processor. The decision is likely aimed at keeping the phone affordable while still improving performance through higher CPU clock speeds.

Pricing is expected to remain consistent at $499, offering 128GB of storage as standard. Like other recent Pixels, the 10a should benefit from seven years of software updates, making it one of the most future-proof phones in its price range.

Overall, the Pixel 10a looks to refine Google’s budget-friendly formula—offering a familiar design, reliable performance, and long-term support at a price that stays accessible.
