Apple Music Replay 2025 Released: How to Access Your Year-End Playlist and What’s New

Apple Music Replay 2025 Released: How to Access Your Year-End Playlist and What’s New

Apple Music has officially launched Apple Music Replay 2025, giving listeners a full look at their music habits from the past year. The feature went live on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and is now available directly in the Apple Music app as well as on the web at replay.music.apple.com.

Replay 2025 works similarly to Spotify Wrapped. It collects your top songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists, and the total minutes you listened throughout the year. Apple builds this summary using your play counts and listening time across all your devices.

How to Access Apple Music Replay 2025

Users can find Replay 2025 directly in the Home tab of the Apple Music app. The full experience is also available online. You must sign in with the same Apple ID linked to your subscription.

If Replay does not appear, make sure your device software is updated and confirm that Use Listening History is turned on. Apple requires this setting to track your streams across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android.

What’s New in Replay 2025

This year’s version includes several new sections designed to give users a deeper view of their listening behavior:

Discovery: Highlights the new artists you discovered in 2025.
Loyalty: Shows the artists you consistently return to each year.
Comebacks: Lists artists who reappeared in your rotation after some time away.

Replay 2025 also shows your monthly listening highlights and allows you to revisit summaries from past years. A Replay All Time playlist continues to track the songs you have listened to the most since joining Apple Music.

With iOS 26, Replay is now fully integrated into the Apple Music app, but it remains available on the web as well.

New Features for Artists

Apple Music for Artists has also been updated. Creators can now view new metrics such as listener growth and year-over-year performance changes. Existing insights like total listeners, countries, and minutes streamed remain available.

Release Date History

Apple Music Replay 2025 was released on December 2, 2025, in line with previous years, which typically launch in late November or early December.

Recent release dates include:
2024: December 3
2023: November 28
2022: November 29
2021: December 1
2020: December 1
2019: November 15

Unlike Spotify Wrapped, which pauses data collection near the end of each year, Apple Music tracks listening activity continuously from January through December.

Top Songs and Artists of 2025

This year, Apple Music announced that the most streamed song on the platform was “APT” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. Other top songs included Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther,” Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather.”

Tyler, the Creator was named Apple Music’s 2025 Artist of the Year, earning over 4.5 billion minutes of listening time.

Complete Replay 2025 Playlist

Replay 2025 includes a personalized year-end playlist featuring the songs you listened to the most. It also includes a visual highlight reel designed for easy sharing on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Apple is promoting Replay 2025 with special visibility inside the Apple Music app and a feature exhibit during Miami Art Week.

Apple Music Replay 2025 continues to offer a detailed and easy-to-share view of your yearly listening, similar to Spotify Wrapped and YouTube Recap, along with updated year-end charts from both Apple Music and Shazam.
