Sony Xperia 10 VII Specs Leak with Bold Redesign and Renders

Sony's next mid-range smartphone, the Xperia 10 VII, has just been leaked through new renders and a detailed specs listing in Hong Kong — giving us our first proper look at what’s coming.

The Xperia 10 VII brings some notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Xperia 10 VI. Starting with performance, the device will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, offering improved efficiency and AI capabilities. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD, a feature many still appreciate.

On the front, the Xperia 10 VII features a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. This size and resolution should offer a compact yet sharp viewing experience, staying true to Sony’s slim and tall design philosophy.

In the camera department, the rear setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP secondary camera, which is likely an ultrawide. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP front-facing shooter.

Battery life should be solid thanks to a 5,000 mAh battery, and while Sony hasn’t detailed charging speeds yet, the capacity suggests multi-day use on moderate settings. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box, although some fans have noted disappointment with Sony not offering a more customized or feature-rich software experience.

The Xperia 10 VII measures 153 x 72 x 8.3 mm and weighs 169 grams, making it slim and relatively lightweight. According to the leak, it will be available in three color options:

  • Charcoal Black

  • Cedar White

  • Turquoise

There’s no official launch date yet, but the leak suggests the announcement is imminent — likely within September 2025.
