Asus and Microsoft have opened pre-orders for their first handheld Xbox gaming consoles — the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. Originally announced in June, both devices are now ready to order with official pricing confirmed.

The ROG Xbox Ally comes with an AMD Ryzen Z2 A chip, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It's priced at $599 / €599 / £499.

For those looking for more power, the ROG Xbox Ally X offers a Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB RAM, and a larger 1TB storage capacity. This version starts at $999 / €899 / £799.

Gamers can pre-order both handhelds through the Microsoft Store, the Asus online shop, and popular retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Shipping begins on October 16.

Availability is confirmed across a long list of countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, Germany, and many more across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Microsoft also shared that more regions, such as India, Brazil, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Switzerland, will receive access to the devices at a later stage.
