OnePlus Pad Go 2 Set to Redefine Budget Tablets
OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus Pad Go 2, a budget-friendly Android tablet expected to arrive with notable improvements over its predecessor. The device is rumored to feature an 11.35-inch IPS LCD display with a crisp 1720×2408 resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, making it well suited for streaming, reading, and everyday tasks.
The tablet is reportedly powered by a MediaTek chipset paired with 8GB of RAM, offering enough performance for multitasking, browsing, and entertainment apps. Storage options may include 128GB and 256GB variants, giving users flexibility depending on their needs. While not positioned as a performance powerhouse, the Pad Go 2 aims to deliver reliable day-to-day usability at an affordable price point.
Camera hardware is expected to remain simple, with an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera—sufficient for video calls, online classes, and casual photography. A large 8000mAh battery is also rumored, promising long hours of usage on a single charge, which is ideal for students and frequent travelers.
One of the biggest upgrades appears to be the addition of stylus support, a first for the Pad Go lineup. This could make the tablet more appealing to note-takers, digital artists, and productivity users looking for a low-cost alternative to premium tablets.
With an expected price around ₹19,999 in India (roughly PKR 65,000–70,000 in Pakistan), the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is shaping up to be a strong competitor in the budget tablet segment. More details are expected at its anticipated December launch.
