DJI has unveiled the Mini 5 Pro, a game-changing sub-250g drone packed with features that rival full-size models. The biggest upgrade is the 50MP 1-inch sensor behind a 24mm f/1.8 lens, offering 4K at 120fps, 10-bit D-Log M, and 14 stops of dynamic range. This leap over the Mini 4 Pro’s 1/1.3” sensor brings pro-level quality in a portable frame.

The camera gimbal now rotates 225°, enabling true portrait video and Dutch angles. It also adds LiDAR-assisted obstacle avoidance for improved flight safety, especially in low light. The DJI O4+ transmission system increases range to 20km, while the battery boosts flight time to 36 minutes (or 52 minutes with the optional Plus battery).

All this power comes without breaking the crucial 250g weight limit, making the Mini 5 Pro an ideal choice for creators who want quality without the red tape. Starting at €800, it’s available now—just not in the US.
