Poco F7 Ultra Nears Launch with New Certification: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 120W Charging, and More
The Poco F7 Ultra is inching closer to its official launch, as evidenced by its recent certification by the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). This certification, which confirms the device’s model number (24122RKC7G) and name, adds to the growing list of global approvals the smartphone has received, signaling an imminent release.
According to leaks, the Poco F7 series, which includes the F7 Ultra and F7 Pro, is expected to debut on March 27. While Poco has yet to officially confirm this date, the steady stream of certifications and rumors suggests that the launch is just around the corner. Notably, this year’s lineup will skip the vanilla F7 model, focusing instead on the Ultra and Pro variants.

The Poco F7 Ultra is rumored to be a powerhouse, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will reportedly boast a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 32MP ultrawide camera. For durability, the device will come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it a robust choice for users.
One of the standout features of the F7 Ultra is its 5,300mAh battery, which supports blazing-fast 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This combination ensures that users can quickly recharge their devices and stay powered throughout the day.
On the other hand, the Poco F7 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with memory configurations of 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB. Its camera setup will include a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens, alongside a 2MP auxiliary camera. While it lacks wireless charging, the F7 Pro compensates with a larger 6,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging support.
Both devices are expected to launch in India, catering to the brand’s strong fanbase in the region. With premium specs and competitive pricing, the Poco F7 series aims to solidify Poco’s position in the mid-to-high-end smartphone market.
