Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra Specs and Images Leak: Snapdragon Powerhouses with Premium Features

Xiaomi’s Poco brand is gearing up to launch its next flagship series, the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, and detailed specs and images have now surfaced online. These devices are expected to be based on the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, respectively, but with some notable differences tailored for a global audience.

The Poco F7 Ultra is set to be the star of the series, featuring the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, as seen in recent benchmarks. It will come in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The device will boast a 6.67-inch 120Hz 1440p+ display, offering a smooth and immersive viewing experience.

For photography enthusiasts, the F7 Ultra will pack a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 32MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera will handle video calls and selfies. The phone will also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, measuring 160.3 x 74.9 x 8.4mm and weighing 212g. Powering the device will be a 5,300mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, slightly smaller than the 6,000mAh battery found in the Redmi K80 Pro.

The Poco F7 Pro, on the other hand, will be powered by the slightly older Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with the same 12/256GB and 16/512GB configurations. While it shares the same 6.67-inch 120Hz 1440p+ display, its camera setup is more modest, featuring a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP helper camera. The front camera is a 16MP shooter, making it a step down from the Ultra model.

The F7 Pro will also carry an IP68 rating, with dimensions of 160.3 x 74.9 x 8.1mm and a weight of 206g. It will house a larger 6,000mAh battery but will support only 90W wired charging, omitting wireless charging capabilities.

Both devices are expected to launch on March 27, though this date has yet to be officially confirmed. Interestingly, Xiaomi might skip the Indian market for the F7 Ultra, as the Poco F6 Pro was not available in India despite the F6’s success there.

With their premium specs, high-performance chipsets, and competitive pricing, the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra are poised to make a significant impact in the mid-to-high-end smartphone market. Stay tuned for more updates as the launch date approaches.
